What’s in the prize pool

First place takes home 4 Spiritforged boxes or 480€ store credit
We’re not holding back for our first championship.
1st place: 4 Riftbound Spiritforged Booster Boxes – or 480€ Phoenix Feather store credit if you’d rather build your collection your way.
2nd place: 2 Riftbound Spiritforged Booster Boxes – or 240€ store credit.
3rd & 4th place: Exclusive Riftbound playmat + sleeves.
Every ticket holder also receives a goodie bag on the day, which includes an exclusive championship T-shirt (your choice of black or white, sizes S through 3XL – select when you buy your ticket) and a Nexus Night pack.
What to bring
- Your constructed Riftbound deck, built to the current format rules
- Your player ID or a way to register on the day
- Sleeves are strongly recommended – 6 rounds of Swiss is a lot of shuffling
- Water and snacks for the day; Hotel Osijek has facilities on site
If you’re unsure whether your deck is tournament-legal or want a last-minute practice game before Saturday, come into the store on Thursday or Friday and we’ll help you get ready.
The format explained
For players joining their first competitive Riftbound event, here’s a quick breakdown of how the day will run.
Swiss rounds (6 rounds): Every player plays all 6 rounds regardless of wins and losses. You earn points for wins and ties, and after all rounds are complete, the top 8 players by standing advance to elimination play. Swiss means even if you lose early, you stay in – your record across all rounds is what matters.
Top 8 cut (3 elimination rounds): The top 8 players face off in single-elimination rounds – quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final. One loss and you’re out.
This is the same structure used at Riftbound Summoner Skirmish events, so if you’ve played in any of those, the format will feel familiar.
Why this matters beyond Saturday
The Phoenix Feather Store Championship isn’t a one-off. This is the first event in our seasonal championship series – one Store Championship per season, for every TCG we carry. Spring, summer, autumn, and winter. That means Riftbound, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece TCG, Sorcery: Contested Realm, and more will all get their own championship events throughout the year.
Saturday’s event is the beginning of something we’re building here together as a community. The players who come out for this one are the founding class – the people who were there for the first one.
We’ll be running a Riftbound Unleashed Pre-Rift event on May 1 as well, right around the corner from today. Check our event page for the full upcoming schedule.
